A 68-year-old patient from Kenya was admitted at Wockhardt Hospitals, South Mumbai – India with complaints of breathlessness on climbing stairs for the past year. He had a generalized weakness. The patient was on anticoagulant; this however was stopped for a year due to gastrointestinal bleeding. The senior gentleman had a history of total knee replacement surgery and lumbar decompression patient. He was also allergic to penicillin. The patient was monitored and advised for anticoagulants and medical management. The patient was discharged back to his hometown, being hemodynamically stable with regular follow-up and conservative treatment.
